# Update Auth Key

At the time of writing, Tailscale allows an auth key to live for at most 90 days. When a need comes to update the key for Telltail Center, you can generate a new auth key [like before](https://guide-on.gitbook.io/telltail/installation/setup-telltail-center#get-an-auth-key-from-tailscale) and can update it with:

./telltail edit center-auth-key
```
